Enough about Mike Huckabee not being conservative.  He represents the only top-tiered candidate to consistently support life and heterosexual marriage during his entire political career.  Huckabee also worked to reduce taxes in Arkansas to the best of his ability, despite mandates from the Arkansas legislature and judiciary requiring certain levies. 

Please consider that Mike Huckabee governed a very Democratic state for almost 12 years - a longer period of governance than any other candidate running for President.  During this time he restored the Arkansas economy by balancing the budget - a true conservative hallmark.  And, he cut taxes over 20 times. 

Mike Huckabee's also represents good 'ole American values.  He married only once (unlike thrice divorced Rudy Guliani).  He never allowed government (our tax dollar) monies to fund abortions (unlike Mitt Romney).  And, he supports the exportation of illegal immigrants who willingly defied the laws of our land (unlike John McCain).  In sum total, Mike is more conservative than all of the other Republican candidates.

However, Mike's brand of conservatism represents a true brand of "compassionate conservatism."  This includes a long-needed correction of haughty Wall Street money hoarders who selfishly dump stocks regardless of U.S. interests, and the admonition of Corporate CEO brutes who lay-off thousands of people (and their families) and receive a pay-raise in return.  Conservatism should not condone these types of selfish, detrimental behaviors.  Instead, conservatism should represent lower taxation, empowerment of the people, a culture of life, and a strong defense of our nation.

America needs to return to its roots, when an average American could aspire to the highest office of this land.  When wholesome principles governed our decisions for the betterment of all Americans, creating opportunties for all.  America needs a Mike Huckabee to restore our standing in the world.  And, we need his conservative credentials to ensure that we win the fight against terrorism, and not surrender ,as is the goal of the Democrat candidates.
